Soy is a good alternative protein for adults. It also plays important role for healthy heart. Soya is rich in nutrients like PUFAs (poly-unsaturated fatty acids). They are amazing for heart health. They have good potential to lower blood cholesterol. Soy being a good source of omega-3, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants make it a complete heart healthy food.

Why Soy Protein?

Soy protein is the only commercially-viable plant protein that has been recognized as a complete, high-quality source of protein.  Soy protein’s quality ranks up there with milk, egg and other animal-based sources and interestingly, it has a low carbon footprint. Soy is very efficient to produce, requiring less water, energy and land than animal-based proteins like milk and meat. Consuming a vegan or vegetarian diet, rich in soy protein, is an excellent way to reduce your impact on planet, not just greenhouse gases, but, land and water use.

Soy milk is definitely the best alternative to normal milk. Soy milk has been the most popular non-dairy substitute for decades because its nutrition profile closely resembles that of cow’s milk.  Soy milk offers about 7 grams of protein per cup, compared to cow milk’s 8 grams per cup. Most, but not all, brands are fortified with calcium and vitamin D, so be sure to look at the nutrition label to find these nutrient values. Soy milk comes in flavored varieties, such as vanilla, and also comes in lighter and lower-calorie versions.

Wait no more and switch to soya because- “Time and health are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.”- Publilius Syrus
